Who is JKR Training?

JKR Training is a government-registered training organisation (RTO 91130) that delivers nationally recognised qualifications and skill-based programs across Business, Leadership & Management, and Transport & Logistics industries. We are Smart and Skilled approved and committed to quality outcomes.

What is your training philosophy?

We believe in “training today for tomorrow.” Our mission is to empower students and businesses with future-ready, industry-relevant skills through flexible, supportive, and high-quality training experiences.

Courses & Study Options

What types of courses do you offer?

We offer nationally recognised qualifications including:

  • BSB30120 Certificate III in Business

  • BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

  • TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

  • TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations

  • Fatigue Management, BlueCard (WHS), and Bus Driver Authority

We also offer short courses and tailored corporate training.

What are the delivery modes?

Our training is delivered through:

Enrolment & Entry Requirements

How do I enrol?

Enrol online via www.jkrtraining.com.au, call 0490 665 215, or email info@jkrtraining.com.au. We’ll guide you through eligibility and funding options.

Do I need a Unique Student Identifier (USI)?

Yes. A USI is mandatory for all nationally recognised training in Australia. We can assist in setting this up.

What are the entry requirements?

Entry depends on the course but may include:

  • Basic English and digital literacy

  • A valid driver’s licence (for driving operations courses)

  • Completion of an LLN (Language, Literacy, Numeracy) assessment

Fees & Funding

Are courses Smart and Skilled funded?

Yes. JKR is an approved Smart and Skilled provider. NSW residents may be eligible for subsidised training. Visit smartandskilled.nsw.gov.au or contact us for eligibility.

How much do your courses cost?

Fees vary by course, delivery mode, and funding eligibility. Fee-for-service, employer-paid, and subsidised options are available. Contact us for a current schedule of fees.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment options are available depending on course and enrolment type.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are generally not available once training has commenced. However, student transfers and substitutions may be permitted. View our full Refund Policy in the Student Handbook.

Assessment & Learning

How will I be assessed?

Assessment methods include:

  • Written tasks

  • Case studies

  • Workplace logbooks

  • Supervisor feedback

  • Observations in the workplace

We ensure fair, supportive, and transparent assessment processes.

What if I don’t pass an assessment?

You’ll receive up to three re-assessment opportunities at no extra cost, along with personalised support from your trainer.

Can I use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools?

You may use AI tools for grammar checks and topic research, but not for generating assessment answers. All work must be your own. Misuse may result in a Not Yet Competent result or academic misconduct procedures.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Do you offer RPL?

Yes. If you have existing skills or industry experience, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer. We assess prior work, study, or informal learning against qualification requirements.

Student Support & Wellbeing

What support do you offer?

  • LLN support

  • One-on-one guidance with your trainer

  • Digital learning assistance

  • Access to the Student Handbook and feedback channels

  • Referral to external wellbeing and mental health services

What if I need urgent personal help?

We provide referrals to 24/7 support services like Lifeline (13 11 14), DV Line (1300 363 550), and Men’s Line (1300 789 978). For emergencies, call 000.

Do you support First Nations students?

Yes. We partner with culturally appropriate organisations to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Resources include 13YARN, AHMRC, and BLAQ.

Employer Partnerships

Do you offer workplace training?

Yes. We specialise in employer-sponsored programs, onsite or remote delivery, and custom-designed skills development for staff.

Can my employer enrol me?

Yes. Many of our students are referred or funded by their employers. Smart and Skilled employer-funded enrolments are available.

Policies & Compliance

How do I access my student records?

You can request your training records any time by completing a Student Records Request Form. Copies can be viewed for free or printed for a nominal fee.

How do I make a complaint or appeal?

We have a fair and confidential complaints and appeals process. You can submit concerns in writing. Unresolved issues can be escalated to ASQA, the Office of Fair Trading, or the National Training Complaints Hotline (13 38 73).

What legislation does JKR Training comply with?

We comply with:

  • Privacy Act 1988
