BlueCard Course

  • What is a Blue Card?

    The Transport and Logistics BlueCard is a training course focused on work health and safety (WHS) standards for individuals working within the transport and logistics industry. It serves as a testament to the individual's understanding of fundamental safety procedures and protocols relevant to this industry.

    The BlueCard program aims to promote awareness and adherence to essential safety measures within the transport and logistics sector. It is often endorsed by industry representatives and stakeholders who are committed to establishing and maintaining high safety standards and best practices within this field.

    This certification is particularly crucial for professions like truck drivers, courier drivers, and those involved in Warehousing/Logistics, given the inherent risks and safety concerns associated with these occupations. The BlueCard typically remains valid for five years from the date of issuance and serves as evidence of an individual's competence and commitment to workplace health and safety within the transport and logistics industry.

  • Upon successful completion, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment for: TLIF0025 Follow work health and safety procedures.

    You will also be issued the Blue Card as a digital badge. This will be awarded from TEACHO (Transport Education Audit Compliance Health Organisation).

  • Monday-Friday - $300 per person

    • A $10.00 postage fee applies. Alternatively, participants can collect their Statement of Attainment from JKR directly without incurring a postage fee.

    • Costs include the issuance of the digital Blue Card.

    • Discounts may apply to groups of 6 or more (Monday-Friday).

  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations have substantial adverse effects on our business therefore full amount of payment is required prior to course commencement. There is a non-refundable cancellation fee of $100.00 for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

Bus Driver Authority

  • Get qualified to drive a public passenger bus in New South Wales with our NSW Bus Driver Authority (BDA) course. All drivers of public passenger buses seating 13 or more must be authorised under the Passenger Transport Act 1990/2014.

    After completing this course and receiving your Bus Driver Authority, you can work as a:

  • To be eligible for a Bus Driver Authority in NSW, you must be:

    • Hold a current Australian driver licence

    • be at least 20 years of age and

    • have held a full (unrestricted) Australian driver licence for more than 12 months in the last two years

    OR,

    • be at least 25 years of age and,

    • have held a current Australian driver licence (not including a learners licence) or nationally recognised overseas driver license for at least three years in the last four years.  

    • be a safe driver and have a good driving record. Your traffic offences will be assessed by Transport for NSW (Transport) when processing your application. 

    • be medically fit to drive

    • be a suitable person to hold a BDA. Transport will assess all relevant documentation when processing your application.

    Online - Once you have access to the online learning platform, you will have up to 90 days to complete the course. You will need to be on a device (computer, tablet, or phone) that has a webcam.

  • Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Proficiency Certificate that must be lodged with Services NSW as part of the NSW Driver Authority Application.

  • Face-To-Face: - $350 per person

    Online (self-paced): $220 per person

    • Discounts may apply to groups of 5 or more

    Cost is all inclusive for JKR Training. Any additional fees related to Transport for NSW or medical fees will be between the individual and other parties, not JKR Training.
